This album finally hit our shore! It had been on my wish list since they released it in the US early this year. This Target-only released album captured John Legend’s best-selling concert in Philly last year.
On the disc, you will enjoy songs from his two previous albums – Get Lifted and Once Again. The intro song for this concert is his remake of Jay-Z’s Do You Wanna Ride just like what we had in Sunburst recently. The album features 19 performances including a duet with Corinne Bailey Rae on “Where is The Love”. Other covers on the disc are Sly & the Family Stone’s “Dance to the Music”, the Roberta Flack hit “Feel like Making Love” and the Beatles’ “I Want You (She’s So Heavy).”
Those who still in awe from his performance in Sunburst KL should get this album… Just to experienced the same (again!) To have a better experience, grab yourself the DVD version of this concert. Not sure if they are selling it here.
